Mission

This Blog is entitled Working It Out. The wording comes from Philippians 2 particularly verses 12 and 13 in the NIV

¹²Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, ¹³for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.


However, I belive The Message version is a bit easier to understand.


^12-13What I'm getting at, friends, is that you should simply keep on doing what you've done from the beginning. When I was living among you, you lived in responsive obedience. Now that I'm separated from you, keep it up. Better yet, redouble your efforts. Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God's energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.

That is my goal, to be energetic in my life, revernt and sensitive to God's leadings. The URL is storywrittenbyGod(.blogspot.com). That is what I want my life to be, A Story Written by God Himself. Not me, not others, not even what I think others are thinking, but by God. That is my mission for this blog, to write down the story of where and how God leads.

Now it is not my intention at all to make this a 'religious' blog, posting only Bible Verses and sermons or devotions. No, because if I am honest with myself and others that is not my life, nor do I really want it to be. It is my intention to post tidbits of my days and weeks, providing insight on how I am finding out who I am and possibly, maybe just maybe, encourage some else along in their journey.
